A good step but let me share what I would like: Make the body bigger. Make it a box. Add SDI and HDMI raw out, timecode, ND filters, side handle and top handle. Basically, make it a RED Komodo but better. That is was we need! Smaller is most definitely not better. Big, heavy cams aren't the best for this demo either. I'm just saying make it as big as needs to be to fig in the features that make a difference in the user experience. Another few inches and a few hundred grams will not scare people away.

Lack of eND is a critical missing feature. The rest of the FX-series lineup has it.

Especially if it is planned to be used as crash cam, remote cam or tight places.

So basically, it is Sony a7s3 on steroids without EVF, nor variable ND but with professional audio out. I think, I will wait until they come out with FX3ii, where, the ND filters, and EVF are implemented into this as well. I just don't understand why Sony keeps coming out with products half-baked. Why a7s3 and FX3 where each is missing something. I would say it is better just to get Sony FX6, what is the point of FX3 other than the price?
