Memory is An ILLUSION

We do not remember the unimportant bits, but our memory is neither an illusion or a delusion. Memory is not a fabrication. This is part of the BS being doled out these days by those who try to confuse people.

Cool way to suggest memory is an illusion at all. Gaps you may or may not have filled in, do not make memory's an illusion. Actually if that were true, I could just as easily say that the one speaking in this video is delusional, and that would, just as well be way too unnuanced. Both things are not the smartest things to say, with all respect. Memory's may be a dellusion when you're psychotic, but this man is contributing to the whole "alternative facts" and "post truth era" movement... It sounds way too populistic and is based on his own idea. If you almost live in your mobile phone, and base the truth on media and undermining (polotical) groups, emotions instead of facts, then we all start to be delusional, but come on, we're not in a mass grouppsychosis, right? 😉 Just keep your facts straight. And memory's aren't delusions, they may get a bit blurry, especially with gossip and other slightly antisocial behaviour. Reconstructions and fabrications aren't dellusions. But still, it is a good commercial for even more creating of content, cause that is no delusion at all
