Putting the most expensive CPU in the cheapest motherboard...

Blowing most of the entire budget on a CPU and cutting corners elsewhere isn't a good idea, but is actually a horrible experience? I've paired an i9 with an Intel H610 board to find out.

Thanks for watching :)

that's a good pairing. By the time the CPU degraded you can throw away the board, too!

Maybe the 14900k will last longer when it's underpowered lol Thanks Intel

It's boring to have a CPU that works 100% all the time. With 13th gen and 14th gen Intel processors, users will have an adventure that can span days, weeks, months, and even years!

The motheboard will out live that CPU for sure.

CPU Timer: engaged...time to self-destruct: UNKNOWN.

The scary thing here is the motherboard isnt the issue or risk.

14900K is a joke... My 7800X3D is generally faster in games and draws 40-50W while gaming... And doing all that while being stable!

"The i9 14900k here is one of the best processors money can buy" debatable lmao and I bought one of these pieces of shit I regret it so much

Unironically a board that fails to boost the 14900k to ridiculous voltages could in fact have saved it

Intel be like _"As you can see, even on a budget mainboard, there are no problems with the 14900K"_

With the Intel fiasco currently this is refreshing to watch!

Thank you again for showing us what happens when you pair High-end parts with questionably "Compatible" budget others.
Be mindful of your PC compatibilities and requirements guys

At least it wont be able to push enough power trough it to degrade it before end of warranty.

I would've loved to see a thermal image on those VRMs. I bet they were TOASTY, especially without any heatsinks! XD
