All of Channellocks electrical tools like diagonal, needle nose, linesman, new screwdrivers are USA made, very affordable and badass! Never had a problem

Klein tools (per Matt Klein the 4th himself) owner of Klein tools said (per the owners of my local electrical supply house) that all of their products are and will be Made in USA south wire and ideal are not far off from being good tools and as far as channel lock tools pliers and screwdrivers are made here but the adjustable wrench and socket sets are made over seas.

I have a basic 9.5 pair of linesman pliers from them and similar pair of pliers but yours are 5 in 1 and mine are the 7 in 1 version and their romex strippers they're good tools (to me ). Love your video sir.

I have the southwire yellow ones. Minimal use but pretty close to Klein. I purchased them because I was looking for certain Klein’s to replace one of mine that I was having a hard time finding. . I called Klein and asked where I could locate them. They asked what the issue was with my current pair and I told them that they started to fail due to age and wear after 9 years of moderate use. I was not expecting a replacement because I definitely got my monies worth but they told me to go to my local Home Depot for a free replacement and when I got there they were waiting for me at the counter. Absolutely the best tool encounter I have had thus far. Thanks for showing a wide variety. In the market maybe for a pair of those red handled Neiko’s.

I know several guys who carry one of those little belt kits, I personally don't, but it's nice to have somebody carry scissors for you.

the question is: Klein is at the same level as Knipex?

I've never used a little kit that you have, as a Resi commercial

The pouch is more geared towards low voltage and communications guys. I’ve got the same compact USA strippers and they are by far my favorite strippers I’ve ever had. The only thing I hate about electrical pliers are those damn springs! I tear them out of any pliers I buy that come with them.

Great video thanks brother. I don't know if I would change. I'm not an electrician but I have done enough. I just retired my Kline they served me very well over the years. I have a pair of Crescent know hope to get a few years out of them. Like the selection of tools that you have there. Keep up the great work see you in the next video thanks again brother

These are installation pliers, and the base are cable cutters, designed to cut whole cables without crushing them. They're rated for aluminium or copper only, no ACSR or other hard materials. This will damage the blades. Installation pliers have a cable cutter (sometimes diagonal cutters), wire stripper for some assorted wire sizes and a crimper.

The set with the scissors is more of use for phone or network guys. I've got such a set, by Klein (hard to get them here in Germany, and if you get them very expensive). Pen and light are always in my toolbag.
Here almost every electrician uses Knipex pliers, they're in the price range of the first Southwire you've shown here. But these are the insulated versions with VDE rating.

In my opinion it is not only about where they are made, the quality must be better too. And if the quality is good, the tool got some innovative and useful features, and the tool is made in a country like the USA, Germany or any other high cost country, and people will pay for it. Why? Because:

1. It is useful and perfect for the job
2. It will last longer and is not made of chinesium.
3. Makes the job easier (bad tools are turning work into a torment)
4. With good tools you can do better quality, bad tools sometimes produce questionable results (marks on the finish, or they simply desintegrate during the job)

For a higher price you could expect more than simply the same thing only made in a different country. And don't abuse the tools, they'll last longer. It isn't worth it for a time saving of some seconds to abuse pliers as a hammer. Use the hammer instead, and you can bequeath the Lineman's to your grandchildren.

Wow, I went through a time warp watching this content and actually had to pause this video and tell my wife it’s been 35 years that I learned the electrician trade. Now that I feel so old I’m going to get in the old guy ridged reply and say I’m all Klein.

Nice looking just don't like the inconsistent color scheme (colour for those across the pond).
