How to reach the Upper Yard in Grounded

The official release of Grounded 1.0 is here and it brings with it a whole load of new story quests, enemies, and areas to explore.

One of those areas is the Upper Yard and the attached Shed and there are a few different ways to get there. Some are easier than others so take stock of how good your gear is, and brush up on your parkour skills as we guide you in getting to the upper yard.

There are two proper routes into the Upper Yard and a third option for cunning players. we'll lay all out here or you can use the chapter markers to jump to the one you want.

I've found the easiest way to get up there is get a glider (dandelion tuft) and head up on top of cooler that is on top of the picnic table you can just jump and glide to the BBQ.

Got up there the first time just after hedge base. Built a base up there but haven't been able to get back the same way xP there's also a shortcut but you have to pass many ladybird larva in the cave to get there. I saw it on another video but couldn't get through that way. Coals look safer. Lol

I have a base on Lily's and I used the little fence with all the spiders and build stairs from there up to the upper yard. Took me forever lol but I did it. Can't go there yet because my weapons don't have much of an effect on the enemies but I will go soon. I'm still mid game

People kept saying, “make sure you’re in tier 3 armor and weapons before you take on the manager. He’s very difficult even then”. Took him out with my tier 2 hammer and tier 1 arrows. It was fun tho.

I doubt this upper yard is as difficult as people make it seem

Way too not show the rock you gotta break.... whole point of video I can obviously see the upper yard marker need to k ow where the rock is. You skipped right passed that part smh.
