That was great. I really got a good feel for hardware now. I'm fairly new to msfs 2020 and my hotas 4 flightstick has made flying possible where I was really struggling with mouse/kb. But, I might upgrade later but right now at age 65 I do this from a lapdesk and flightstick on the couch.

Flight sticks and pedals are nice as well. If you buy a couple you can have a dual chair set up for an Airbus. Or you can put them both on one seat for a space sim. I think the best set up is one that’s diverse!

MSFS 2020 for VFR, eye candy. Xplane 11 for IFR and professionals/training. Honeycomb Alpha Yoke, Bravo throttle quadrant, and MFG Crosswind V3 pedals. Don't skimp on cheap crap.

Hey thanks for the great video, I was unaware of the fact that you can mix and match. That was really valuable to know. I am seriously thinking about investing in a flight sim setup, I know all the rage right now is MSFS2020, but from a lot of resent research, it sounds like XP11 might be closer to real world. Your thoughts? I know you sell Redbird, and they are very impressive systems, but very pricey as well. I had hoped to get in for under $2000 but not sure thats possible. Looking at a dedicated computer that would only run the sim. I'm a private pilot and I own a Piper Cherokee 180. I've flown into Sporty's once, its a great spot. I'll have to get in there again.

The Thrustmaster pedals are great, but the pedals with the adjustable tension look interesting. It just might help offset the insanely sensitive rudder on MSFS.

The switch panel on my Logitech DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. I can't get the computer to recognize it. My yolk and throttle array work fine, but not the switch panel.

When your title says "Hardware For Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020", it implies "Computer Hardware". Flight Sim 2020 has serious computer requirements to function properly, and this video didn't talk about that at all.
