Are MUI Goku & Gohan Beast REALLY that strong?!

Gohan having powered up far beyond any Saiyan transformation could have pushed him unlocking his new form Gohan Beast which he somewhat hinted at wanting to obtain years earlier in the Dragon Ball Super anime. Goku still perfecting his craft trying to make Ultra Instinct his own form and climb into the domain of Gods as well as surpass Black Frieza who gave him a new level to look to after his performance against Gas and one hit KO on both himself and Vegeta. Today I want to go over if the father and son duo really are as strong and impressive as we think they are or if maybe they’re even stronger than that.

I'll remind you that it was Elec who contacted Frieza to lure him in, so it's quite possible that the Frieza we saw in the Granola Saga was only halfway through his training, and Elec interrupted it.

This can be inferred from the fact that Frieza used his "Black" form in very short intervals to kill Gas and then to KO Goku and Vegeta, not trying to stay in that form. This might mean that he hadn't mastered it well enough to remain in it without side effects (just like the Golden form, which drained huge amounts of stamina before Frieza mastered it better).

We also know that Frieza set two goals for himself: to overthrow Beerus and then to overthrow both Zenos to be at the very top, so I wouldn't be surprised if, after the events of the Granola Saga, Frieza started training again.

No way Goku is that much stronger than Vegeta in broly. Goku likes to put himself in danger and test his opponents. So that's why he fought in base. Also he was able to observe broly's movements, and along with his experience with ultra instinct, is a reason why he held up in base for a hot second.

Beast Gohan one shotting Goku is kinda of exaggerated, Yes his knock Goku out of UI but the thing is that Gohan shocked everyone who was present with is power, Whis, Beerus, Vegeta so it stands to reason that Goku would be shocked as well, in fact he was, because he wakes up and ask what was that ? So him being shocked literally translates to him not being prepared to take on that much power until he turns it up a notch. Yes UI carried him dodging a few of Gohan’s attacks but that could only get him so far. The fact that Goku gets right after he was knocked out of his form proves it wasn’t matter of inferiority on his end, it was matter of being ready. Frieza’s feat on the other hand proved his superiority, I mean he also blitzed Goku, speed = power, usually at least. Goku waking up and duelling the same Gohan more evenly, if not taking control of fight again, Gohan who didn’t power down after he landed that punch, tells the entire story. Goku still believes Frieza than him so both haven’t caught up Frieza.

I don't get your point about the SSG multiplier. The failed ritual already made Goku stronger than Vegito, so it should be common sense that the full god ritual would make him stronger than fusion many times over. The regular power of SSG at a lowball is 20, 000X stronger than base fusion. It's kinda embarrassing that you got this wrong especially since the story literally serves you this information on a silver platter lol

About the whole Goku > Vegeta thing.

Vegeta can definitely be weaker than Goku but viewing it as Base Goku > God Vegeta or even SS Goku is a bit wild to me. Vegeta didn’t damage Wrathful Broly in God mode for sure but we don’t know how much power he went in with. Vegeta is going for the kill (at least moments before) but he never suggest he is going all out or even looks the part. Him and Broly clash a bit but nothing really even has the chance to happen. Vegeta fires no blast or anything at the wrathful Broly. For base Broly Vegeta did try and kill him but he’s not exhausted at all after firing the blast and most likely used only what was needed to kill base Broly before the power up. Goku then takes the stage then and in SS and in base Goku is getting cooked, and does no damage to Broly. Nothing there to suggest that he’s stronger than God Vegeta. He clashes with Broly but so does God Vegeta for a second before Goku took over the fight. Even in God Goku gets overpowered, so their showings are pretty similar in both God forms, it’s just that Goku got more time. Now Broly is bigger and stronger, but again Vegeta is holding back against the weaker Broly and when Wrathful comes up, he doesn’t sustain any damage and doesn’t even get a chance to try to deal any real damage.

As for the statement in the video about Vegeta chasing to catch up to Goku, imo it was clearly talking about UI Goku. It says Goku’s power is approaching the Gods and that’s something very in line with UI. Even if you want to count it as Blue Goku though, Vegeta trying to catch up is again fine because he can be weaker than Goku, but it being by that much just doesn’t fit with the reasonings given imo.

Hi dude just wanted to elaborate at 4:50 in the light novel its explained that Goku actually outmatched Broly in skill. So much that it made up the difference.

Goku is very skilled when you actually disect the Goku vs Hit fight, which is his best skill feat to date.

5:00 Six, no, just no... Why does strength always relate to just power? What about Skill? It's why Goku last longer in fights in any form he uses. Plus hes the main character, so they have to get him the spotlight. Also broly punched ssjg vegeta one time and ssjg vegeta took the attack with no damage, he could have kept fighting Broly, but then it was Gokus turn. You lastly have to consider that transformations stack a multiplier on thier base forms, which means theres no reason why gokus super siayan for example would be higher than a 50x. Its always seen that Goku and Vegeta are relative to eachother in power, always.

In the anime: Yes and No, they are strong but they don't get the same glaze as Super Broly did from Akira interview and the movie itself along with Novels and promotional material. But Beast did get more glaze in the Movie continuation then Goku as they pushed him and Cell Max > Goku individually.
In the manga: Both are the same shit, equal in power and weaker then Beerus which = who cares

Based on the last DBS chapter I would say Goku, Broly, Gohan and Vegeta are relative to each other rn based on the showings.
There are a lot of caveats there as Goku was winning before and after Gohan used his boost as Gohan can't maintain that lvl of chi as it appears. After hitting Goku he had a sweat mark and got pushed back by UI right after while he also appeared to be irritated.
Goku also said he wasn't trying to beat him and also blitzed him at one point. I mean he didn't try to use his "Susanoo" for example.

Going all out berserk Gohan or Broly would be the strongest rn tho. Hard to say how much stronger Broly is now etc.

Black Frieza is likely stronger then any of them tho as he should be the big villain to beat.
