The Calforanian However was 10miles away so when they sent the Iceberg warning it ringed loud in the wireless operators ears, so he told the wireless operator on the Calforanian to shut up. that made the wireless operator just quit the telegraph and retire for the day. If the titanic s wireless operator hadn’t shout at him more lives could have been saved.
