TO COOL DOWN: ice hat Needed: Straw hat with adjustable chin strap, tray of ice and bandana. Tie bandana at the back of your neck. Crack tray of ice into the hat. Lean over to put the hat on your head. Stand up and tighten chin strap. Chilling the blood in the capillaries of your scalp, appears to cool down your body as the blood circulates. This hat enabled me to work in heat for hours. Prior to this, I actually passed out in the heat.
