To Maintain Canon Pixma TR 8500 Series Printer, follow these steps:

1 - Power off the printer but do not unplug it.
2 - Hold the Power (POWER) button
3 - Keep holding the power button and press the STOP button 5 times
4 - After pressing the Stop button 5 times, release the POWER button

Note: do not expect the power (Power) light to be silent.

Perfekte Anleitung VIELEN Ich wollte schon einen neuen Drucker kaufen und hab beim letzten Versuch den TR8550 nochmal zu starten dieses Video gefunden und es hat SUPER funktioniert!!!

Useless as cannot see what is being done on the screen. Need verbal instructions

Absolutely useless. Not only does Canon eat printer ink at a great rate but now you can't even clear an error code and this is not at all helpful
