Vehicles are becoming more like smart phones, pricey items that last only a few years. The automakers are moving towards a subscription service for using certain features and limiting what repairs you can perform, if you are even able to fix it yourself. The good old days of buying a reliable ICE vehicle and driving it for 15 or more years are gone.

I wonder how is the performance in flood. Is it ok to run an electric vehicle on flood?

Finally a beautiful looking EV crossover. Caddy killed it. And that interior is 🔥

This is definitely the most beautiful Cadillac! It also definitely tops all other EVs in terms of look.

I really miss when Cadillac made the Fleetwoods of the 90’s big couches on wheels land yachts…Cadillac needs to return to its roots.

$63k sounds pretty reasonable for this vehicle

$60K, not all people can have the brass balls to afford that much for it lmao.

Going all EV seems risky from a business perspective. If EVs fail you’re basically bankrupt.

I find it amusing that a car people had not seen yet in person, detractors coming out saying needless comments and untrue fabrication. Sounds like this car will be a success and sell well which is rubbing people the wrong way. Unreal people are jealous of a car.

Forget EVs, they are the ugliest of all vehicles, the most expensive and the most wasteful of rare earth elements. EV manufacturers also play tricks to siphon owners’ incomes forever by making their subscribe to features like remote control, software updates, the use of navigation, radio, music, cruise control etc. Owners of some EV must lease the battery for life.
I prefer buying a vehicle based on need and pay off as soon as I can and drive it for 20 years and repeat. My current 18 year old Toyota Sienna is still working great and is running flawlessly at 319K miles without having to replace any major, yes even struts, shock absorbers, engine mounts and fuel pump haven’t been replaced.
Range is up 500 miles on trips with 5 minute fill up time and has seatings up to 8 people plus camping gears and luggage.

The problem with all of these Tesla competitors is that they don't drive themselves. GM is the closest with Super Cruise, but that's not really much of a competitor. If you go and watch videos of Tesla's public beta of it's Full Self Driving, it's amazing, the car can already drive itself in more than 95% of all situations, probably closer to 98%. A Tesla, for example, will take an unprotected left-hand turn at a stop sign, into cross traffic doing like 60mph. Now I don't know if I have the faith in any car anytime soon to actually do that, but you can see videos of it happening. Having an electric car? Who cares, that's easy. The hard part is getting the other tech in place, and Tesla is literally years ahead of everyone else on that. With that said I like the way this looks, inside and out, better than the Tesla models, but I'm choosing the vastly superior tech over looks. Also I've owned a couple of Caddy's, and I really do like this model, but with no legit self driving competition, these makers are all banking on people not understanding or knowing what is going on in terms of technology.

Well its...different...
That’s about all the good things I can come up with about this one lol

Looks suspiciously similar to the new EV Blazer...why, GM, why? They always create essentially identical vehicles under different nameplates. It's not a good strategy.

Please, Mary Barra, OH NO! Not another Rav4 Cop Car look alike. Mary Why do you think EVERYONE loves

That thing is hideous...I give it 6 months of ownership before a catastrophic breakdown.
