Not sure if you've already covered this, but I was watching some Halo: CE devs react to a speedrun, and one of them noted that the warthog in the final warthog run is actually slightly different, in that it's a bit faster than all the others. Maybe you could mod it into a different level/multiplayer and test it side by side with a normal warthog?

Pretty sure this was/is an anti-boosting security measure. Remember, in H4, Spartan Ops counted towards your 130 Level rank up, so it stands to reason that this was put in place to stop people from boosting by going AFK in Spartan Ops

I played through all the beta spartan ops solo. What a slog some of them were, obviously built around a team or co-op with a friend at least. Can you only co-op with friends or random people via matchmaking?

I know this video is 5 months old now, but when doing this exact Spartan ops mission, I was restarting over and over after completing it for the “knightbane” and “remove the bishops from the board” achievements. My game was starting to lose its textures, this was after 1 hour and 30 minutes of constant restarting. Most notably the saw was changing colours and looked really cool, almost like it was changing skins depending on the amount of enemies killed, I got screenshots of them all. But was wondering if this was tied to the game not letting you past an hour

To be fair I did enjoy spartan ops when it first came out
