Gemma, Simon, I can’t tell you just how satisfying it has been to watch those beams go in. What you have done on that boat is nothing short of astounding. You have my respect.

For the registration number, you should save the old beam, mill it down to about 5mm and attach it to the new beam. Keep a bit of the old in the new

Cheers from across the pond in Oregon! Hey I am the guy who came clean about three years ago by telling you that when I watched your first episode I thought there was NO WAY you would finish the boat and if you did I thought the workmanship would not be that great. I came clean and confessed this to you and apologized to you. You responded by saying that at least I was man enough to admit I was wrong. NOW I just want to say that you guys have far EXCEEDED my wildest expectations. I am so impressed by both of you and the work you have done. ALSO your teamwork is such a healthy balance and good example of what a marriage should be. Jemma, you blow me away! You are so completely capable and I respect Simon so much for not running over you as many of us men have a tendency to do…. even with the best of intentions we have a hard time in that area on the whole. Your humor… goofy as hell but really funny with just enough naughty innuendo to crack me up but not offend those who appreciate a PG/PG-13 rating. You are two very real and very good human beings and I can’t help but to cheer you on whole-heartedly. Thank you for doing what you do and for doing it so well. Thank you for sharing it with us! Crack on!

In another hundred years or so when Sarinda is refurbished they will remark about the quality of your work! Good job!

The standard of the woodworking is superb. You should be rightly very proud.

Did anyone else see the little crab when he was cutting the mighty line?

This is the only channel I “like” before I watch the video, and I’m right every time 😊

1hr 20 mins and what a total joy it was to watch. What the two of you are doing is just incredible.

A suggestion for the reg number.. I think that A custom brass plaque would look very nice fixed on to a beam?

Your joining them by far the best way Simon, these armchair experts don't know shit from shineola

The way you are cutting the longitudinals, to spread stress, is 100% perfect, if I may say so

Wow!! What a productive episode!! I started this journey with y’all 3 years ago when I started working on my college degree. Now, I have one semester left in earning my Undergraduate Degree! When my studies get overwhelming I have found great solace in watching each week. I look forward to your content each week. If you keep it going four more years I can earn my graduate degree, with your assistance.

Gemma, from living in Texas most of my life, you need to hydrate and keep those electrolytes up. Drink plenty of water and keep some oranges handy as well as keeping under as much shade as possible and you should do better in the heat! It might be worthwhile to string a tarp up to keep you both in the shade. Take care of yourself!

the progress is amazing. you might not see it but we experience it every week. keep up the great work and the bow will be water tight before you know it.
