Our Foundation—Milton Hershey School

During World War II, Mr. Hershey asked that the Ten Commandments and Golden Rule be placed above the fireplace in every student home. More than 80 years after his original ask, these foundational elements remain prominent on our campus, reminding us of our core beliefs.

Our founders knew that moral and religious training would be important to the success of their Home and School. To this day, Milton Hershey School is committed to providing the resources for students to explore their faith. Learning about faith and critical thinking is crucial to our students' development. In fact, these beliefs and skills will form a firm foundation in their lives.
