I was a student at MHS from 1950 thru 1957 . As I watch these videos about the story of living at MHS is so very different then when I attended the school. It was a all boys school then, 20 to 26 boys on each farm (10 to 18 years old) each farm had 2 sets of house parents. We did all the farm and household chores. The day started at about 6:00 am and ended at 9:00 pm.The opportunities were endless . My only regret is I wish the guidance for life as a adult was more realistic.

I've thought about trying to enroll my daughter so she can have opportunities I didn't. I graduated yrs. But I think this would be an awesome experience and helpful for her.
