Electronics 101: RFID vs NFC (Explained)

Hey Guys, this is a short little one that explains the basic difference between these two types of technology and I also show how you can use NFC with your Smart Phone in a bunch of different ways.

So the phones are NFC readers, not transmitters. So there’s no way to use NFC on your phone to send information to and Arduino with an NFC reader?

I don't know if it is possible, but maybe you know:. Suppose I create an application on my phone, and I want the app to check an RFID (or any other tag) to check any rfid Is it possible that the app checks this without momentary permission (so automaticcly check when reading an RFID, if it has anything todo with the app), or do you always need the users permission in that moment? I assume that if this is possible you give the app permission to check all RFIDs that are offered to the phone, which sounds unsafe, but also sounds kinda handy. Does anyone know what the permissions logic is on andriod/Ios systems?
