COVID-19 rising in Maryland, nationally

COVID-19 cases are increasing in Maryland and across the country according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which reported increased cases and hospitalizations nationwide. Doctors said most of these cases are KP variants that are now circulating — and they're proving to be more transmissible than previous strains.
