Dear Paul
Of all stereo reviewers I love your reviews the best . They are detailed, beautifully presented and accurate . Thank you for your erudite reviews !

Outstanding as always Paul. As someone who still has his 1980 Technics SL-Q303 and listens to it regularly but lives 150 feet away from the busiest train line into & out of Chicago, I will be looking into purchasing an ISOSLICE very soon. Thank you and keep up the great work.

Good review. I went for the Isoacoustics Zazen II. Nice Ultravox Vienna 12" Record on your wall.

Constrained layer isolation is something I played around with some 20-15 years ago and you can get very good results quite easily.
Appearance might be another issue...

I have just recently made my own.

Bought 2x IKEA bamboo butcher blocks, some adjustable spikes and isolation pads.

I put the isolation pads between the two blocks and the spikes below the bottom block. The spikes are adjustable to get the level right.

It actually works really well. In many ways, the same improvements as Paul mentioned in his review (he put words to what I also heard).

For £38, I am really happy. It does not look quite as nice as the one reviewed here, but it definitely improved the sound coming out of the turntable.

Neat. I wonder if it beats Darko's Ikea Atitilig bamboo cutting board on Atacama Isolation gel. I have those under all my components and it made a notable improvement.

Hi Paul thanks for another great review. Tempting, but I’m not sure about the aesthetics it’s rather chunky. Having said that my old Technics 1200 needs all the help it can get!

Does it make any sense to invest in something like this (at this price point) when you have a Rega Planar 1?!? It costs as much as the TT itself...

For an turntable I can understand, but not so for amplifiers and the like..

Don’t understand how you compare the Dellos with the iso slice when you use a whole different system?

Hi Paul, I'm aware that the price is very competitive, but how would this compare with the likes of the isolation offerings from AUVA, I'm thinking that they are aimed at slightly different markets but both have their attractions depending on what is more important to your wants/needs and potentially space too, you are spoiling us with choice, not at all a bad thing.

These platforms are completely optional really if you maybe want to try something out. I sort of lost faith in the hifi mags years ago selling expensive cables and went online. Can understand the Rega impoverishment if speakers are pretty close. My fav record deck was heavy mass though

Or maybe a pack of anti vibration washing machine pucs from Timu retailing. at £1.75 per 4 inc postage. You could prob ingrave your own logo with a stanley knife.

Hi Paul
I have 4 Soundeck mini discs under my Marantz TT15S1 turntable feet, which itself sits on an isolation platform made by a German company called SSC. I repeated the same magic trick for my Cyrus XR i9 amp, and the difference in sound quality is immense. More bass, richer presentation, and hearing stuff I didn't know was there before.

I dont know if i like the use of foam. It really questions the longevity of that product. Especially in the feet. Why?

Looks like a lot of work goes into those. Companies such YBA etc figured out years ago that leveling and isolation efforts go somewhat wasted using 4 feet. Almost impossible to get four feet completely flat. Isolation platforms and audio components should really have three feet if vibration control and isolation is a serious consideration. YMMV of course.
