OUTLANDER Season 7 MAJOR Cast Changes! New Actors Revealed + Old Returning | Release Date Update

Hey, guys! We have VERY exciting news about Season 7 of Outlander! The Starz network just revealed a BUNCH of new characters for Season 7! Kristin Atherton (from Doctors) will play Jenny Murray, who was previously portrayed by Laura Donnelly in Seasons 1 to 3. Gloria Obianyo (from Dune) will play Mercy Woodcock, a free Black woman in Colonial America; Chris Fulton (from Bridgerton) will play Rob Cameron, a new acquaintance of Brianna and Roger; Rod Hallett (from The Last Kingdom) will play notorious traitor Benedict Arnold; Diarmaid Murtagh (from Vikings) will play Buck MacKenzie, Dougal MacKenzie’s bastard son with Geillis Duncan. Plus, Charles Vandervaart (from Lost in Space) will play William Ransom, Jamie’s grown son he fathered in Season 3 with Geneva Dunsany. IN ADDITION, Starz is bringing familiar faces from the past seasons! Graham McTavish returns as Dougal MacKenzie, Andrew Whipp as Brian Fraser, Nell Hudson as Laoghaire Fraser, Steven Cree as the elder Ian Murray, Lotte Verbeek as Geillis Duncan and Layla Burns as Joan MacKimmmie. The supersized, 16-episode Season 7 began filming in Scotland in May, and on September 14, Sam Heughan revealed on Twitter they were half-way through filming. We are hoping that Season 7 of Droughtlander premieres in late Spring 2023. i believe the first part of Outlander Season 7 will be about June 16? on Starz. The second part of 7 will bee in 2024. There is a total of 18 episodes. I hope they don't kill off Jamie or I will be bawling thru the entire season.
