In Outlander Season 7, Jamie, Claire, and their family are caught in the violent birth pains of an emerging nation as armies march to war and British institutions crumble in the face of armed rebellion. They learn that sometimes to defend what you love, you have to leave it behind. Episode 8 was by far the best episode of the season. It had a great balance of action, historical reverence, and character development the rest of the season was missing due to the compression of the books into two

I am thrilled there are 16 episodes. I recently finished Part 1 and have already rewatched it. Very happy they are in Scotlander. As a huge fan, I feel like I am a highlander too!

It was a wonderful episode but I'm still going to complain about how stupid it is to split the season. After all this wait we only get 8 episode. Ugh! Hopefully they will release part 2 early 2024 but they will probably make us wait until at least June 2024 or even later.

Great ep imho. Scotland!!!! Finally!!! He earned it. It's just awful that we have to wait until 2024 for the rest of season 7!!! What a ripoff. It was great to see Jamie and his son on the battlefield and finally meeting up. It was great to remember the eps where he raised his boy and now to see him as a grown man is cool. I really am glad they added the Quakers and that they are having one interact with Ian as a native American.

Messing with the storyline again! Adult William seeing Jamies face for the first time in the books is a PIVOTAL moment as he recognises the same facial features a realises he is Jamies son. Haven't they learned by now that the fans hate it when they mess with the big details!
