There's a difference between Walt's vision of "keep moving forward while honoring the past", and today's culture of "demonize and destroy the past in favor of something else" (and end up repeating the same mistakes).

Walt not nostalgic?? Walt himself has said many times how nostalgic he was. Just look at Main Street in Disneyland as well as frontierland. Walt was very nostalgic

Walt would be TOTALLY disappointed in what's going on with his company now. He wouldn't want the company constantly remaking movies like they've been Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella, Cruella....he'd hate this idea of constantly living in the past. He'd want his people to come up with NEW ideas

Unfortunately when Walt died, the mantra of Keep Moving Forward died with him. There's nowhere left to go but backwards and when I take Disney over, I will preach Make Disney Great Again, even if that means going backwards.
