Brent has been one of my favourite guitar players for like 15 years, but I'll be honest, aside from his playing I've always disliked him. His antics were funny when I was 15, but I can't even fathom being in a band with him. I'm glad they managed as long as they did, but I am not surprised to see him go.

One time I picked up a gibson sg from 1984, it was used, and a bit rough, but it played so frikin easy and loud like an acoustic or something, I fell in love. Brent's reminds me of that, like what is an amp even for man?! Thing has tremendous voice even at subtle picking.

im really sad that brent left the band. Mastodon was one of my favorite bands in middle school with Gojira and High on Fire.

I used to wonder how Brent could possibly be an INTP and be so much better at guitar than me, but watching him here play guitar exactly the same as me gives me hope as an INTP

Saw them at the Claranount Lounge ( i think that's how you spell it ) in Atlanta. A nasty strip club.
I kept screaming for them to play Seabeast and of course they didn't.however it was a great show and very small crowd on New Years Eve.
