3D Printing some Warhammer 40k with only 1 liter is kind of crazy to think about. In this video, I will show you what I went through to print Warhammer 40k proxy models for Warhammer 40k and or Kill Team.

Games Workshop should embrace this trend. Unlike the poor execution of Metallica against their own fan base, because of copyright. In this case Games Workshop should (EMBRACE IT - INCITE IT - LEAD IT) make their own 8K 3D printer, (PAY-HAMMER Printer) for their stores. Have a two tier hobby. "Base" army sets. Sold in boxes - starter packs and cost effective bundles. But then PAY-HAMMER the more exotic models, and customizations for their war leader and other special units. Pay-To-Win or Pay-To-Customize. The box set should come with a Internal scratch and win QR code for one complimentary PAY-HAMMER 3d print... like a WarLord or Heavy Support. Therefore all sold generic-pre-bundled-armies, get one highly customized model, to help distinguish that bundled army from other low cost bundled armies. This exposes the customer to the extremely nice experience of getting something special. In addition, the box for that custom PAY-HAMMER is also printed. Folded, assembled and all inserts / transfers / special terrain markers / options ... and other "goodies" are included in the box, along with the PAY-HAMMER custom.

I've got 9 x 1750pts 40k 3DP armies. Couldn't have even bought one in plastic for the same price 😬👍

6:11 One thing I learned through testing is to make an analysis of the print after slicing and looking for when the peeling forces are stronger and weaker. If I see layers with probable stronger forces and I have smaller object closer to the edges, I either try heavier supports on the parts on the edges or I just print it separately. And for sure I slow down the lift speed, usually just stronger supports and a bit slower print solves the issue

Digging the Votann prints. I got these same ones, minus the vehicle. Ended up modding the chests lights on the Hearthguard to be more inline with GeeDubs, plus a few other kitbash Votann mods. Having looked at a few Sagitaur STL's, this came out better than I thought it would. Might have to finally print one out Great vid.

3d prints for sure. I've had a printer pretty much since I started the hobby and wouldn't be as far along as I am without one.

I wonder where we'll be in ten years as well. I am very much enjoying the profound changes our hobbies and technologies. I can't wait.

Love the intro mate, solid effort.
And damn, you got a lot more than I was expecting out of 1 litre of resin, that's a lot of printing!
Super cool to see your first go at a vehicle print too, not a bad first go at it I reckon.
Nice tips on the cleaning too, using a support looks like a good way to stop you digging around for the sheet haha.
It sounds like an 8k printer is the next big channel goal xD

As for where we'll be in 10 years for printing?
Well, just keep your old pal Rumjunkie in mind when you can print those life size 6ft goth girl android bodies yeh?
Cheers mate :P

Oops, great video, very good quality.
Do you know where I can find 3D Warhammer models to buy? I've been searching for a while but haven't found anything of good quality.

I would suggest that the wheels, when printing, be set a few degrees off from flat... Love the content

Likely not the case for you as you live in a hot country, but my supports would fail if the room temperature was too cool. Below 20C and I would find rafts with supports but no model. If the resin is too viscous, it won't flow back quick enough during the lift. You can also slow the lift speed to allow the resin to fill the voids more thoroughly. Originally, I tried thicker supports but still had the same problem, but hot resin and slow lifts solved it. That said, you are probably right that your supports were too thin for the models being lost.
