I am Jewish and I do not think the “Anne Frank” comment was offensive. His point was that modern technology has created conditions for an authoritarian regime that no one can escape or hide from, unlike previous authoritarian regimes that lacked such technology. He was clearly not saying that the Covid lockdowns were as bad as the holocaust. If he said that, I definitely wouldn’t vote for him — but he’s got my vote for now. Sad to see the media trying to manipulate people with poor comprehension skills into thinking he said something that he never said. But I wouldn’t expect anything less from the mainstream media.

holy smokes, I always thought his voice was messed up from doing drugs or something, but if you listen to him you realize that there is an incredibly articulate man struggling with a speech disorder to deliver what so desperately needs to be said. I haven't heard a politician talk with this much conviction and clarity since bernie sanders.

That reaction at his announcement where he said "this is what happens when you censor someone for 18 years"...the reaction by the crowd was palpable. I think that's what we're all feeling and living through him saying the things we all want to say.
