I missed picking a selection when it was installing Deepin because I wasn't expecting a menu to appear but it all seems to have installed okay. After having installed Windows 11 into VMWare just a few days ago, it is scary how installing Deepin felt a much more professional experience. Unfortunately I am an application/game developer so I have to use Windows but I like to see the latest Linux distros every now and again. This is by far the best I have seen, it does all the things right that Windows 11 does wrong, in particular the Start menu location and behaviour. Microsoft have forgotten what professional developers need from an OS and what we don't need is a constantly changing interface. One of my personal mantras is "Familiarity breeds efficiency" because it's true.
