This is our new go to KC Turbo's DIY stock turbo upgrade. This has surpassed our old DIY kit. This is a combination package that is going to come completely balanced by us and assembled. This is ideal for stock 7.3 trucks that are running complete stock turbos and looking for an updated design. This features both our billet compressor wheel and updated SXE style turbine wheel design.

I installed this in combination with an s&b intake, a banks big head waste gate set to start opening @ 28psi and a riff raff boost fooler. Definitely stronger pulls up steep hills. Great job kc!

My 2000 7.3 in the exact rpm range you said makes the exact surge sound you described, noticing some blue smoke total think that I need a rebuild turbo for burning oil

I put a KC Turbo on my 7.3 and that truck stock injectors, etc would go 0-60 in 6 seconds. It was a great rig until a suspended uninsured motorist ran a red light

I have this kit and love it! I do have a question regarding the billet wheel. I have an extra ported housing for a d66 wheel. What are your thoughts on using the baring kit and s300 exhaust wheel with a d66 billet wheel? Thanks for your thoughts.

Is it necessary to do the housing with this or will just the diy kit itself yield better performance

I'm not happy with my bd thruster 2 turbo performance. It's sounds really nice .
Any internal upgrades I can do to it ???

I have been told the stock turbo can only safely produce 25psi without shortening its lifespan. With this balanced assembly kit can I safely run more then 25psi?
