Pretty cool little radios. The batteries drain quick and I know why. They include absolute garbage 1000 mah aa batteries with them. You’ll end up spending another 30-40 bucks to put in decent ones. Not a good batt in the bunch. Other complaints? Even the packaging can’t make up its mind on the transmission distance. Not that it matters since they’re never accurate anyhow. Still. Pick a number. In true Cobra form they have horrible instructions and the micro usb as opposed to the micro c. Other than that the quality seems good for the money. The batteries are the sticking point. It’s a pass. 12 for 12 were bad. Hope this gives you an idea of what to expect. Good quality except for the 1000 mah that they include.

I bought these radios off Ebay and got 400 mAh batteries that would NOT charge. They just refunded my money and I just used Alkaline batts until my rechargeable batts came in the mail.
