Oh THANK YOU! I want to buy these for Christmas for my 11yr old and I to communicate if she is at school and needs me, or when I am out at Walmart or running errands and she wants to contact me. I couldn't find any reviews for THIS model....in a CITY, buildings etc. Ideally I would like it to work up to 3.5 KM in the city (approx 2 1/2 miles) since I don't really travel farther than that from her usually, so I super appreciate the review using them during every day living =) I haven't bought them YET..so if there's anything bad I should know that you've discovered let me know =)

Hey there, good buddy! Bought 2 pairs of these this week. Been waiting forever to find the simple old school 545's and on ebay reburbished is cheap! Love 'em! Just a question on tge charger. Got 2 red lights and they don't turn green? Been waiting now 9 hours. Unplugged tgem, of course. They have juice, just no way to tell if they're fully charged without taking the batteries out and putting them in a smart charger? Fun video, btw.
