Is Zelda Ocarina of Time: Master Quest Better than the Original? | REVIEW

Zelda Ocarina of Time is my favorite game ever, so you can assume that I would love the Master Quest. Although it is a fun challenge, I would still recommend the original if you have never played it. This game is highly recommended to Zelda veterans who hunger for a challenge!

NOTE: If you're playing Ocarina of Time 3D, you must complete the game the first time to unlock the Master Quest.

Also, the 3D Master Quest goes beyond the GameCube version in challenges. Hyrule is mirrored (similar to the Wii/GCN versions of Twilight Princess) and all enemies inflict double damage...try surviving an Iron Knuckle's axe attack on that!

Is the biggest challenge, water temple is a nightmare within a nightmare. If you can beat it with no guide AND manage to collect all items, you may boast and wear the crown of Hyrule.

I remember playing oot master quest on my 2ds a few days ago. I can’t believe they added entire COWS inside of jabu-jabu’s belly.

I actually decided to download the 3DS version before dropping in here to get a quick review on whether there were any extras or not.

Majora’s Mask for this handheld looks like it’d be a slight pain on account of certain changes in the port, but I’ll probably shoot for that too since I never beat it in my youth.

The early game just had me in too much of a panic early on.

Dont make excuses about owning a nintendo or money, just download the emulator and launch the game, i peraonally recommend the NGC double pack of Ocarina and Windwaker

I finished the normal Ocarina of Time recently and decided I'll start playing the Master Quest version and now, I'm to the point where I have to find Saria and learn her song and head back to the Goron city, to play her song to Darunia to progress further. Even though it's mirrored on the 3Ds, I feel used to the idea of the Master Quest.

Master Quest makes you revisit old dungeons to get all the skulltulas. There's one in the first level that you cannot get until you have the boomerang.
