The two-day Central Nagaland Students’ Association’s 4th General Conference commenced on Monday at the Agri Expo Complex in 4th Mile on the theme ‘Beyond Boundaries' with Minister for Higher Education & Tribal Affairs, Temjen Imna Along as the special guest. While addressing the gathering as the special guest, Temjen Imna stressed on the need for Nagas to have greater unity in order to go forward. He hoped that the CNSA should speak boldly, not just for the three tribes but for all the 17 tribes of the state. He further said that ‘to make Nagas presence known, Nagas need to make sure that greater unity is achieved traditionally, economically and culturally’. Imna Along further stated that Nagas need to update the narratives in the right way taking guidance from the elders, so that all be able to exist in prosperity, peace and unity. He also suggested organising conclaves that would provide a platform to speak about new narratives and also focused on digital Nagaland and tribal rights of the people
