‘COMPULSORY HINDI IN NAGALAND’ - TEMJEN IMNA CLARIFIES

MInister of Higher Education & Tribal Affairs of Nagaland and state BJP President Temjen Imna Along has said that as a part of Union of States, he welcomes the move taken by Union Government to implement Hindi as a compulsory subject in schools upto class 10. However, his government is yet to receive any official letter regarding the matter. The minister also stated that till this point no discussion has taken place between the Centre and the State Government imposing Hindi language in the state. Speaking to Nagaland TV on the sidelines of the 4th General Conference of Central Nagaland Students’ Association in Dimapur, Imna Along stated that Hindi language is welcome, however it will require some time to be implemented in the state of Nagaland. He also added that the decision of making Hindi compulsory is a subject of discussion between Delhi and his government and not of imposition and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio would take the matter in the forthcoming cabinet meeting

If hindi is compulsory then okk... but we should not do take just by namesake, , , it's a wasting time only, our government of Nagaland should take such responsibility for that matter...🙏🙏
