Most people in the past used the stars as guide, specially ships, to get to different places. We probably won't be able to understand how God really created this beautiful place, but one thing is for sure, is not the way nasa and other agencies put it. The Bible describes exactly the way God made it. I don't think He would lie to us about his creation. Why would he do that? Genesis chapter 1 explains it to the dot and I'm not about to doubt his word, not now, not ever. God bless you all..

I'm a former atheist (I made a testimony video on my channel). The toughest thing I've found is not convincing non-believers that there's a God it's convincing those that believe in the bible to believe in the bible.

Knowing the Bible won't bring you salvation, living it will. Nothing above God, love him first and foremost and love one another as Jesus loved us. Seek first the Kingdom of God.

The firmament is a solid barrier somewhere high up in the sky. When you read in Genesis 7:11 the story of the flood. You see it clearly says “The WINDOWS OF HEAVEN were opened and rain fell upon the earth 40 days and 40 nights. Then in Genesis 8:2 when the flood was subsiding, it clearly says “ the WINDOWS OF HEAVEN were closed and the rain was restrained.

There is water above the earth but being held back by some sort of solid barrier/window according to the Bible. Make no mistake about it

The problem here again is that they are modernizing everything. You have to take what is written literal. If you take the time to Google firmament. It tells exactly what it is. God never changes, he stays the same. So, if he never changes neither does his creation. Stop interpreting to your idea. It's always his idea, not yours.

Day 4 god places the sun, moon and stars in the expanse or firmament.

It’s really not that hard to figure out where the sun moon and stars are. The tricky part is figuring out what it means to be separated from the waters on the other side by a ‘huge expanse that no man can cross’ 😐

I loved this, because I've always related waters above the firmament, to the windows of heaven being opened, during God's flooding of the earth in Noah's time, just like opening a window in your house, there is an inside and an outside of that window. We have a big God with big planning, His ways are not our ways. We have seen nothing yet. Wait until the third heavens and earth takes place! Oh what a God we have, and He is our Father, those of us who believe! Thanks for furthering my education on Creation!

The word expanse was not used there! You did! And you repeated the word over and over and slipped in definitions that mislead.. Show me one word or verse where the word space was used...What an evil psychology trick. And The Bible does describe what the firmament is and describes what it looks like. And he put them within the firmament...

Wow! God put the sun the moon and the stars IN the firmament! The birds fly in the OPEN firmament of heaven. Above the firmament is the glassy sea, the ‘pavement’ of heaven, above is the awesome throne of our God! There is no such thing as outer space. The sun moon stars in the firmament revolve around us! We are the apple of Gods eye. This man is not telling the truth.
