Fun fact: Clowns' humor is making fun of themselves. They don't tell jokes, they do silly things that make themselves the butt of the joke.
A jester on the other hand tells jokes and makes a fool of the audience, not himself. In medieval times, they had the special right to make fun of the king as long as it was entertaining. Their hats tell you what kind of humor they give; clowns traditionally have pointed "dunce caps", while jesters have the two parts on their hat with the bells on the ends (that look similar to horns?)

it's a nice guys finish last type thing.
the girl is going after the "Chad" (in the scissor handle) because she sees the money, and is holding her heart because that's what she'll give him, but all he will do is stab her heart (so, he's going to takw what he wants and leave)

but the guy between the blades is offering his heart (not enough for the girl, she's more attracted to money) and wants to give her the world (that's the earth behind his back) he's also between the blades because them coming together is going to hurt him.

all of these have meaning they're just cringe and weird
