In this #shorts math video we will be simplifying radicals TWO ways. We will begin by understanding the power and the relationship between the exponent and the base. We will multiply the base by itself twice since the exponent is 2. We will multiply the radicands and find the square root of the product. The second way we will simplify is by rewriting the square root of 6 using an exponent. The square root symbol actually represents an exponent of 1/2. We will use the Power of a Power Property which states you multiply the exponents. We will identify the correct solution from the given options. An exemplar solution is modeled and explained.
