👉 Learn how to find the square root of a number. To find the square root of a number, we identify whether that number which we want to find its square root is a perfect square. This is done by identifying a number which when raised to the 2nd power gives the number which we want to find its square root. If there exists such a number, then the number is the required square root. If the number which we want to find its square root is not a perfect square, we express the number as a product of the largest perfect square factor of the number. Then, the required square root is the square root of the largest square root factor together with the other factor of the number (which we want to find its square root) left as a radical number.

I cannot say thank you enough for your videos. They are the only reason I am passing my college algebra class.

your welcome, have to be careful when making my videos, as I am keeping these strictly about math, but god plays an important role in my life so it is important to let others know that

What if you had two numbers that didn't have a group would you add or multiply them??

Thank you for this, I am learning this in Algebra now and even though it's pretty straightforward, I have some rough edges I need to clean up, and these videos have helped me to do that. Thanks! :)

I suck so badly at finding greatest common factors. It's nothing more than trial and error/guesswork for me.

how do you figure out that 72=36*2 I get a number and sit forever trying to figure out how to factor it dividing by all the numbers and end up giving up because I can't find anything that works.
