In microbiology, streaking is a technique used to isolate a pure strain from a single species of microorganism, often bacteria. Samples can then be taken from the resulting colonies and a microbiological culture can be grown on a new plate so that the organism can be identified, studied, or tested.

This video was pretty bad for many reasons.It’s not as big of a deal because clearly these are students but if you’re going to make a video, please, follow proper lab procedures. We don’t want anyone out there developing bad habits that skew results or that are just plain unsafe. Ps please get someone else to make the video next time.
