My bio teacher was in charge of the morning announcements over the school intercom during my last high school year. Every student would hear the intro to Peaches En Regalia before he'd start making any announcements. I have him to thank for eventually making me a Frank Zappa mix CD.

One of Franks best albums, it never fails to amaze me. I used to have a girlfriend who would get high and put this song on. She'd dance through the whole song and then repeat it one or two times again, it was a sight to see. I miss her, but I miss Frank more. He was the greatest composer of his time, he touched every genre and embraced them all.

This sounds like a song recorded in 1974 and released in 75', ...it's way beyond anything else from 69', .... Zappa was often a minimum of 5 years ahead of everyone else, ... that's just a fact -

You know how people say the band "Rush" is missing something? That is how I always felt about Zappa. He never created a SINGLE MELODY which engaged me on an emotional level, which is one of the secrets to pop music. He had an amazing intellect, an amazing gift of composition, but in a career spanning like 90 decades, never put two notes together that caught my attention. Except for this. This is VERY, VERY good.
