The girl banging those cymbals together has such a joyous smile on her face. Maybe it's just her everyday personality, or maybe she's just so happy to be playing Zappa's wonderful music at that moment. Either way, it is a beautiful expression of pure joy!

If Frank were around in this internet era and could see how many bands are playing his music, and especially the pieces he wrote for the synclavier because they supposedly couldn't be played correctly by humans - until even he got it done with Ensemble Modern - he would be pleased. Not only with the commitment to the performances, but by the popularity of his music. He said that he didn't care if he were remembered, and that it's not important to be remembered, but as we're listening to Beethoven, Mozart, Bach, etc. etc. 200+ years hence, Zappa will be remembered and played by MUSICIANS throughout time.

Interesting arrangement. It amazes me that it was first recorded in 1968. I was a teenager. It blew us guys away. We'd never imagined music like that. In fact, the whole album (Hot Rats) blew us away.

The more brilliantly played, the greater the swell in my heart. This song moves me to tears sometimes. This was a beautiful rendition.

My high school jazz band played this ditty. No other

When i first heard this it was i thought how unique this piece of musiic was, it was i knew the piece already but i hadnt ever heard anything like it before and to to top it off Frank Zappa wrote it, and i had a wry smile on my face at the time.He was so brilliant, focused, devoted to his determination to see his music to come to life in his bands or orchestrated.I know if he was alive today he would be delighted that it was picked up by a younger generation. He was more than well lover in Europe and the Prague were in the United States they( the older generation ) did not understand where he was coming from, just another Rock star..NOT.Long live Frank Zappas legacy.Peaches in Regalia.

Peaches, along with the Burnt Weenie Sandwich version of Little House my top favorite compositions of Zappa's.
This is so well executed that it brings tears to my eyes. I'm almost sure Frank would have a smile on his face.

Comme c'est beau à entendre et à voir aussi. Surprenant car il n'y a même pas de chef d'orchestre. Dans tous les cas, merci de ce partage.
