I'm flying to PHL direct from DFW. There's a train from PHL to downtown near my hotel, and within walking distance is the Amtrak station where it's only an hour and a half ride to Manhattan. Roundtrip airfare (American Airlines) and 4 nights in Central City cost me $725. I already booked a roundtrip Amtrak ticket to and from Manhattan for just under $100.
