Big Catfish in Deep Water

If you are learning how to catch big catfish in the winter most people will tell you to fish deep for catfish, and deep water big catfish are a target for many anglers. Sometimes this can be great advice. Early in the winter catfish will move deeper, and they can be targeted in deeper water. Anchoring for catfish in deep water can sometimes be difficult, do drifting for catfish in the winter in deeper water is many times a better option for catching winter catfish. On this catfishing trip in early winter I am dragging catfish baits through deep water in search of big blue catfish.
