Emma Vigeland: As Omicron spreads throughout the country and completely takes over as a dominant variant I mentioned that 70 of detected cases now are omicron at the very least. evidence is increasingly suggesting that while most vaccines do provide protection against serious illness from omicron, Pfizer, and Moderna plus a booster given the time frame in which many people initially got vaccinated. If you're getting a booster that's it I mean i'm not sure what the data is on, if like say you got your actual second shot you know yesterday but just safe to assume that if you got vaccinated in the summer your boosters coming up or the spring your boosters coming up. And that's what's going to protect you from Omicron and they're protecting against what it seems like the initial data is showing infection from Omicron.
