Great video, thanks! Watched your video on Astra speed test also. I don't like auto-optimize plugins, I think it should be done manually. With any WP site, the cashing and image optimization is a must. Astra is doing a very good job keeping the theme fast and with all the options, especially the pro version, it has been my theme of choice for many websites. As far as Elementor and other page builders, I don't like them. I do my own html design and paste it as code in the page admin panel and use Simple CSS plugin to write my own CSS. I know, it may sound counterproductive to those who don't know CSS but gives you the freedom to do what you want or what your client wants you to do. The reason I don't like any of the page builders is that they generate tons of nested html elements which I personally think are not good if you are an SEO conscious developer, and some of them load heavy javascript libraries. The only WP page builder I truly like is Oxygen, yes it takes a learning curve to use comfortably but it's awesome in terms of building layouts, headers, footers, menus, integrating custom posts, custom fields, etc and you don't need a theme to run it on WP site. It's also super fast.

Great Video! We recently have switched from GeneratePress to the Elementor Hello Theme and the results have been great! When we combine it with Cache Enabler & Autoptimize we can get near perfect scores on PageSpeed Insights.

Do you have anything on the OceanWP speed test. I am coming from Avavda and use Avada theme on all 50 sites I created but discovered Elementor and OceanWP and love to get some updated info on this so I can make the move. Elementor made my mouth drop with all these features that I was coding an hiring others to do. :) Thanks!

I'm a little disappointed, having watched the test to be asked do I think its fast : ) . I work with GP Free version and have Elementor installed, but having researched the GP Pro version, which I am on the point of getting at this time of writing, it would seem that Elementor would be redundant, as GP Pro does a lot of things that can be done with Elementor.

I use Elementor Pro too. In fact, some of your videos about it was an inspiration for my work.
But GP, even being a good theme, is not optimal to me. Or maybe I'm doing something wrong.
If you take a look at the EVENTOS menu option, you will be able to see the menu bar scrolls down to the.... center of the Earth!! :(
It happened all of a sudden. Not in the other menu sections. Theme issue???? Who knows. Everything worked fine just until today. Even a good Theme??? Ummmhh...
