At 3:00 I completely agree, He makes so many connections that it’s hard to unpack each individual claim. Great video as always, may God bless you!

I would assume the cutoff would be around the time Catholics do confirmation for high schoolers. (14 or 15 where I live)

Well, what was the significance of baptism at all? John the Baptist was baptising people before Jesus started his ministry, so what was the significance then?

To answer the question 🙋 about the 16 yr old. I look at 1 Corinthians 14. But I consider those who are of that age to know and believe and they will consider to want to be baptized or not. As a parent I can say you live in my house this is mandatory for you just like it was for those in the Old Testament but if they then go and denounce the faith after that is their choice but the sins of Adam was forgiven through my faith for them.

Yeah, I know non-consensual baptisms happen, but I was taught that if you don’t believe, repent, and confess, it’s not really a baptism; it’s just being dunked in water. Philip would not baptize the Ethiopian eunuch until the latter confessed his belief in Jesus (Acts 8:36-7).

There is a reason the Lord has called infant baptism an abomination. Any decent parent knows little Children are never condemned. They are fully alive in Christ. Thats why every infant that dies with or without baptism goes straight to heaven. To say otherwise we are no longer talking about the same God. Because my saviour is full of grace, and mercy, and truth. To compare it to circumcision is not correct. Circumcision predates the Israelite nation. There is also the implication that circumcision was originally performed at a later age. Following Hebrew tradition, the Israelites simply adopted the practice. John the Baptist did not baptise a single infant. He knew the personal responsibility each of us has to make that decision for ourselves. That is why He constantly invited people to be baptised. You cant invite an infant. It doesnt know what youre on about.

Alex answered the questions you brought up. I don’t think you are sincerely searching for truth.
