I just had this conversation with my boyfriend yesterday telling him that cracking your knuckles will not give you arthritis and that that statement is a myth. I've been cracking my knuckles and every joint in my body that is crackable since I was 12 years old. I'm 36 now and still do and my joints are perfectly fine. I actually feel stiff if I DON'T crack like every half hour and when I do so it makes me feel better so it's definitely false.

Edit 2: I just found out in life science that popping your fingers breaks ur cartilage in your fingers. Then you won't be able to move them anymore, same with any part of ur body.💀 But sometimes it's good to pop ur bones at the same time.🤔

The experiment was about arthritis. If cracking your knuckles really causes arthritis. However it was not if it was bad in general. The results only evidenced that there was no real difference between the arthritis in his right hand and his left hand
