I remember Bob Swan was only meant to be interim CEO and he even said in an interview he didn't want the job, I think he knew how much trouble they were in. I don't think any CEO wanted to go near Intel at the time. But for sure Bob Swan was not the right person for the job.

I've personally met Pat Gelsinger, He's a very honest guy and his leadership skills are phenomenal. He emphasizes the power of quality leadership and the effect it has on the individual. I really hope he can turn the Intel ship around.
