Hi Mayleen, If you are not going to use all of the chairs, you should use some of the tennis balls for your table legs. The tables you lowered leaves the bottom sharp and it will wear the felt pretty quickly.

You are very enjoyable! The bins for the cubbies... can go back in the cubby for student materials, you can use them in your class library, or possibly as storage in your cabinets - out of sight if you do not like the colors - just don’t get rid of them... I’ve done #1, 2, and the haul and I’ll be tuning in for the rest today and new ones as they come in. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽😃

It's probably good that you moved the cabinet near the sink. I was thinking that if you put your jackets and some personal things in there, you may also want to put quick snacks and maybe coffee in there. If you are allowed to have a kettle near the sink then that would work really well to have supplies nearby. Do you know if you are allowed to have a kettle, microwave or little fridge?You are doing a great job. The tiered desks look very effective.

As a fellow first grade teacher, you will probably do most of your lessons on the carpet so everyone is close to you and can see/hear. I wouldn’t worry too much about backs to the board, definitely think about having them turn to face you. When they are doing things in groups, partners, and/independent is when they will utilize the flexible sitting options, correct? Or would they always be spread out?
