Insulation drafty windows

Used a similar product on my kitchen window, with regards to people saying a thin piece of plastic doesn't do anything. Believe me, it works really well. 👍

I am going to try putting down masking tape first then the double sided tape to try to avoid damaging the paint.

If put on correctly, these work great. I've used them many times over the past 10 years. They are expensive for a plastic sheet though (IMO).

These comments are hilarious...being from NY and noticing the unfortunate who get plastic to stay warm we don't realize how beneficial it really is, i live in the south now and have older windows downstairs this helped tremendously and i feel good because i did it by myself without hubby...yayyy❤

I do this to my AC suppy vents during the winter.. keeps the heat from rising into the attic and drafts from comming out of them...

I've tried these kits and usually the tape that comes with them is so god awful that you made that as well just buy tape separately and some plastic sheets

Good enough to mask for painting but for insulation just bite the bullet and replace the windows. Nothing else works

.4 mil plastic is insulating the window eh? Just chuck your $15 on a fire and stay warm for about the time this thing would work....
