Longplay of Titanic: Adventure Out of Time, an FMV Adventure game, riding on the FMV's genre popularity at the time, with the theme being - you're a British spy abord the Titanic, the Ice mountain is incoming, and incoming real soon. Not sure about the historical aspects of the story here, I very much doubt going back in time counts for historical aspects. xD But the Titanic itself, architecturaly, seems to be realistically recreated in live photography here. It was developed by CyberFlix and released by GTE Entertainment/Europress, on November 20, 1996, for the PC and Mac. Here is the GOG version of the game, running via... DOSbox I think, with my own screen/texture scaling options enabled for arguably superior quality, 4:3 obviously. All recorded at 1440p60 H.265 HEVC via OBS.

Closest thing I could describe this game as? The Last Express from Jordan Mechner, aboard Titanic, and full FMV graphics and movies instead of the techniques Mechner used. Whole gameplay is to me very, very similar, just the setting, plot and visuals are different.

I believe there are many, many ways to finish the game, and it all depends on the RNG, who what and where appears, and what do they do, plus what YOU do and when. It all matters and changes some minor stuff in the game, plus delays or hastens some conversations. I believe there are different endings, but I believe them to be "get rescued" or "die", with different variations and different characters alive or not.

Hullo friends! Have you ever wanted to see a Titanic game? Where you walk around the ship, everything around you collapses and drowns, and you are in the middle of things, doing some spy work?! Well... I suppose then this is for you. xD The settings, locations, visuals, historical aspects - it's all nice and gucci. The game is basically "The Last Express" by Jordan Mechner, but on a Titanic, with different visual style. Spy-detective adventure, right before the first World War I, with western european nations competing for technology advantage and stealing the enemies' plans. I rated it 7, 5/10, as it's a very competent FMV adventure! FMV nature of things limits the game, true, but it has multiple RNG events and different paths to end the game, its replay value is actually quite great!

I'm so glad to see a playthrough of this game! We had this game when I was a kid and since it was a bit to complex for me to play at the time (I had to have been in the second or third grade), my mom would play it while I and my sisters watched. I have fond memories of spending time with her, helping out with puzzles the best i could, and staying up past my bedtime because we got so invested in the story😂 It's really nostalgic hearing the music and dialogue. My mom and I still play games together all these years later and I should bring this one somehow for us both to play together again.

Released a year prior to the film. I'm no expert but the design and interiors of the ship seem fairly faithful. Apparently this game was an inspiration to the creators of titanic: honour and glory.
I love these old point and click games. Keep it up!
