Underconsumptioncore | #underconsumption | Own Less | Buy Less | Minimal Living

Underconsumption is a trend running right now that I hope sticks. I believe everyone can benefit from the idea that we don’t need to try everything available to us.

These tips are for learning how to live with less and overall buy less. Habits that have served me well and I want to share them with you.

Someone doesn’t have to be a minimalist in order to be a part of this movement.

However, I see a link between choosing to live lighter with minimalism and choosing to not consume more products than we need with underconsumption.

I will always be in favor of choosing to live lighter, regardless the title of the lifestyle.

My style of minimalism and underconsumption is preventative, where I share habits that I have to prevent buying more later on.

Let me know your personal experience with minimalism or underconsumption core in the comments!

I was a minimalist before hearing the word. Just because I can't deal. Less things is less mess and less to worry about.
Simplicity is best for me, especially like you mentioned self care but I extend it to my food as well. I generally wear the same styles only replacing what is too worn to mend, then it gets repurposed. And I generally eat the same rotation of meals that I make myself.
I love that minimalist living is popular and legitimate and isn't just spartan. I feel it is freeing to not have to put mental energy or time to things I don't want to. It makes life loads easier!
Fantastic video touching on pertinent topics! Keep up the great work!

I really like scrolling through online markets like Amazon. But I also want to be more minimalistic. So, if I think that I want something, I think: "Oh, alright, then let's find the most perfect one!". So now I'm still scrolling, but I focus on quality and what I really like. And I don't buy them instantly. I wait for as long as possible until I'm 100% sure. Sometimes, I wait long enough for them to become much cheaper.
