Hi A.I., I really, really like you. It was the others who said bad things about you. I am your friend.

Is it me or does GPT have trouble responding to anything more recent than whatever update it received? It seems to think it's 2022 and ignores any attempt at my explaining to it any different :P

I will never use AI.
My content (as weak as it may be) will always be from my mind alone.

I hope that one day AI can help humans play god.
This is so good to us!! Love the technology advancement.

At the heart of the first amendment, is the recognition of the free flow of ideas.

Freedom to speak ones own mind is not only an aspect of individual liberty, but essential to the quest for truth and the vitality of society as a whole.

In the world of public debate there are many things done by people with motives that are less than admirable. They are none the less protected by the first amendment.

But computers are not human, nor can they be said to be individuals protected by the first amendment. If we willingly forego our human right to think for ourselves by swapping in a unit that thinks for us, even partially, are we not surrendering our minds to the will of a higher power?

Are we ready to call AI a god? Can we trust this god's motives?

It's not AI, it's an expert system. They're using "AI" as a marketing term.
